Check out a few: Groceries to Go - For clients who can still do some cooking, but can't get to the store on their own. Clients provide the grocery list and pay for their groceries. Based on the specific need, volunteers shop alone for client or take a client to the store twice a month. Medi Wheels - Some of our neighbors are unable to get to their doctors appointments on their own and have no one in their lives who can take them. Medi Wheels is a wonderful service that assists our clients in maintaining their health. It simply changes lives. Care Calls - MOWAM connects homebound clients with a volunteer "phone friend", and call either once a day for a friendly check-in or twice a week for a longer chat. Just Say "Hello". It's the simple things that matter the most. Handy Wheels - A light bulb is changed so someone doesn't sit in the dark, a grab bar installed so someone can move in their own home, a lock is placed on someone's door so they can feel safe... these small home repairs and others make a big difference in the lives of those we serve. - Katherine Bilby
